Gemini’s Approach to Videography

When it comes to our videography work, we like to take a slightly different approach.  From our initial conversations, to our post-production work, we offer the chance for our couples to be as involved, or as un-involved as they want to be.  Some people provide very little input, and let us make the decisions for them.  On the other hand, some people choose to be more involved, and give us specifics about how they want their video to be produced.  We try to keep an open line of communication, which helps us deliver your perfect wedding video.

Our filming style is very hands off, unobtrusive, and low key.  We do not pose shots, or ask you or your guests to say or do anything for the video.  I believe that you get the best footage when people don’t realize they are being filmed, and our style and approach allows that to happen.  While I would never base your decisions on the equipment a company uses, everything we use from cameras, microphones, to post-production equipment is among the best in the industry.  This allows us to capture your day without the use of bright lights, or bulky equipment.  For you and your guests, there is nothing worse than turning around and being blinded by a big spotlight, or being chased with a microphone for an interview, and these are exactly the types of things we avoid.  It’s not uncommon for us to talk to brides after their wedding, and for them to tell us that some of their guests didn’t even realize that they had a video.  Whether you are looking for a simple video, and have a tight budget, or you are looking for the best video available, we will help you customize your perfect package.  It is this approach that allows us to win the top industry awards available, and be recommended by some of the finest facilities in the tri-state area.

Our team of videographers and editors are all full-time, and we never outsource our work.  This ensures that the quality stays consistent, and your video will be similar to what you saw during our initial appointments.  We show you videos from the team that is available for your event, and their names are on your paperwork, so there are no surprises.     If you are looking for multiple cameras at your event, we have teams that work together seamlessly to capture the best moments from the best possible angles.  We can provide anything from a simple ceremony shoot, all the way up and through multi-camera, same day edits with all of the bells and whistles.  We have backup equipment on site, and we also have backup staff ready in the event of an emergency.  We have mobile editing systems if you need production work done at your event, and we have a wide variety of ways to display these productions.  By never oursourcing, we are able to provide very consistent, and reliable quality in a way that simply cannot be achieved otherwise.  We also do not show you videos that have been prepared as “samples”, we show you full videos that we have produced for our couples.

If you would like more information about our videography services, give us a call at 973-686-1003 to schedule some time in our studio.  We are available from Monday – Thursday until 9pm for consultations.
